They also posted an eBay ad under Corvette-Tom that completely misrepresented the actual miles.
Sadly I just heard from a Tom Brennan who was also allegedly ripped off by the Dement Brothers. Apparently they allegedly ripped him off in the exact same way by shipping a car with a bad engine. He stated that he won a court case against them and now has a judgment but so far the Dement brothers have eluded paying the court judgment against them. Hopefully justice will eventually prevail and Tom will get the money the Dement brothers allegendly cheated him from.
I cannot describe how badly Tommy Dement and Donny Dement of Vintage Vettes ( vintagevettes.net ) in Murfreesboro mis-advertised a 1960 Corvette claiming it’s “Engine Very Strong” but their own delivery person was unable to start and keep it running upon delivery. Tried to work it out with them but zero customer service and they hid behind a lawyer. I had to spend thousands out of my own pocket to replace the engine. Beware this buyer — guard your money. I was seriously ripped off by their unscrupulous business practices and hopefully this posting will protect other buyers.
Here is their information so you can verify who they are:
